What it is.
Lenilid is a medical device in convenient disposable wipes, designed for gentle, daily cleansing of the periocular area. Suitable for both adults and children, it is indicated in the presence of irritation, discharge or redness, in cases of blepharitis, tear duct occlusions or after ophthalmic surgery. It can also be used daily to maintain proper eyelid and eyelash hygiene.

Formulation
Each wipe is made of 100% natural cotton and is soaked in a solution designed to respect the sensitive skin of the eye area. The formulation contains:

• Ammonium glicirizzinate: extracted from licorice root, it is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It helps calm redness and irritation, including those of allergic origin.
• Chlorhexidine: is a broad-spectrum antiseptic. It promotes deep hygiene and reduces the risk of infection.
• Hyaluronic acid: helps keep the skin hydrated, aiding natural tissue regeneration and improving skin elasticity.
• Glycerin: has an emollient and soothing action, softening the skin and facilitating the removal of secretions.

The formula is gentle, free of harsh preservatives, and suitable for daily use. Lenilid can be used at room temperature as well as warm or cold as needed:

• For a decongestant effect (in case of redness, swelling or itching): simply place the closed wipe in the refrigerator for at least one hour before use.
• For deeper emollient action (in case of thick secretions or tear duct obstruction): you can warm the sachet in hot water for 3-5 minutes.

MODE OF USE.

Use the product in the following way:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Open the sachet from the easy open (pre-incised cut).
3. Take out the wipe and apply it to the eyelid area, keeping the eye tightly close and gently massaging in an outward motion.
4. Wipe away eye secretions and any other deposits until all residue present is completely removed.
5. Do not reuse after use.

In case of particularly persistent secretions and occlusions of the tear duct, it is advisable to heat the sachet, still sealed, in hot water for 3-5 minutes.

In case of redness, it is advisable to chill the sachet, still sealed, in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
